A great new sports app from Sports Illustrated has beer chugging, wing gorging sports fans jumping for joy.
BlackBerry users can now receive updates about the latest scores, rumors, trades and more right to their BlackBerry. Sports Illustrated has promised to update the app several times a day with new features and picture galleries.
The Sports Illustrated app includes contributions from some of SI’s leading columnists and sports gurus, though sadly appears to be lacking in swimsuits. There is also a useful feature which allows users to view text only, vastly improving speeds when using the crappy WiFi at your local café.
There is also a social media theme, with users able to share the news stories on Twitter and Delicious, as well as via email. Best of all is that the Sport Illustrated app costs nothing. What more could you ask for? Like I said, a few bikini clad females would have been nice.
